All LFA games scheduled for this weekend March 2nd-4th are OFF

This decision has been made for health and safety reasons due to the current weather conditions

As this is a blanket call off, clubs drawn at home will NOT lose home advantage when game is refixed

Every effort will be made to refix these games as quickly as possible

Dublin Airport to host 2018 European Airports Football Championship

Dublin Airport Football Club will host the 18th European Airports Football Championship this summer in north Dublin.

Football teams from major European airports, along with 3 from Russia, will compete in the biennial tournament to become champions of Europe. The tournament, now in its 34th year of existence, started in Dublin in 1984 with the aim of fostering friendship through sport. The tournament has grown steadily over the years and this year Dublin Airport will play host to 20 teams from 9 different countries.

LFA players perform well for National Under 18 squad

A very closely contested game ended scoreless which sets up a thrilling second leg on Thursday in RSC Waterford, kick off at 3pm

Seven LFA players on U18 Home Based squad

The LFA would like to wish the seven players selected for the Republic of Ireland Under 18 squad the very best of luck as they take on Wales in Waterford this week for the John Coughlan Memorial Trophy. The sides will meet twice, firstly on Tuesday in Tramore at 7-30pm with the second leg in the RSC, Waterford on Thursday at 3pm.
The seven players selected are 

Adam Leonard: St Patricks Ath
Calum Doyle: Crumlin United
John Barry: St Kevins Boys
Jordan Payne: Crumlin United
Lee McEvitt: St Kevins Boys
Shane Farrell: Shelbourne FC
Zack Quinlavan: Lucan United

and all were selected from their participation in the FAI Inter Provincial Youth tournament played in Donegal last October where the LFA finished second
