The LFA Youth squad opened their campaign in the FAI Youth Inter Pros with a well organised and competent 4-1 victory over Connacht. Played in desperate weather conditions, Leinster always controlled the game and took the lead when a Connacht defender deflected into his own net and a goal from John Barry made it 2-0 before the break. Second half goals from Marlon Marishou and Shane Farrell had Leinster cruising 4-0 and although Connacht did score one near the end, Leinster are off to a winning start and now take on Ulster tomrrow at 2pm
