Kilbarrack United won the O'Neills LFA Under 19 Cup with a fine 3-1 win over Larkview FC. Kilbarrack went ahead on 8 minutes when man of the match Derek Hyland set up Jason Beasley for a simple tap in. Larkview rallied and should have gone in at the break level but they squandered a few chances they got.11 minutes after the restart Kilbarrack doubled their lead when Hyland saw his deflected effort go past Daniel Murphy in the Larkview goal. Goal number three arrived with two minutes left on the clock, Conor Purdee crossed from the right and Jake McEvoy had a simple tap in. Larkview did pull one back when Mark Umhdjere followed up a Bobby Obajob effort which Rice in the Kilbarrack goal could only parry out and the substitute fired home.
