Six players from the successful LFA Youth Inter Provincial squad have been selected on the Republic of Ireland Under Eighteen squad that are currently in Wales for two games which will be played Tuesday and Thursday. Conor Brady and Josh Derham, both from Naas, Eanna Doyle (Cloughbawn), Jack Doyle (Stella Maris) and Niall Connolly (North End United) were all part of the Leinster squad that won the FAI Youth Inter Provincial last October in Cork and as a result, have been selected for the Republic of Ireland.
The squad will play two games against Wales for the John Coughlan Cup, the first of these games is Tuesday February 26th at 7pm in Cefn Druids with the second leg in Bala Town on Thursday at 2pm
LFA manager Joey Malone is delighted with the selection of these players to the Ireland squad and wishes all six the best of luck.
These players are also in line for a trip to Germany in April when the LFA squad will travel to Frankfurt to take on the Hessen FA
